Whats going lately @ Schiller Ranch

Whew! Its been HOT! But school is starting and that means cooler weather and more futurities are right around the corner. Right now we have babies being weaned, colts learning the halter ropes, and some lucky ones being sale prepped by our Donna Hanover for her upcoming Texas Best Futurity Sale in Waco in November! Donna is putting on this great event during the JB Quarter Horse Futurity and Elite Race and it is a first class event. This is Donna's area of expertise and she was just featured in the Barrel Horse News this month. She takes care of all of our breeding and babies and we are so lucky to have her here at Schiller Ranch!
Our good friends Ross and Steve Wright just finished up their successful Shootout Barrel Race in OKC. Schiller Ranch and K9's4COPs were sponsors of the Open and the Futurity Incentive that Tara Schoedter and Kylie Ward won congrats to the both of you! Ross and Steve help us put on our Diamonds and Dirt Barrel Horse Classic in March and we really couldn't do it without them.
Speaking of DDBHC, we have been spending many a hour with our heads together brewing up some great stuff for the event. One of those is a new Sean Ryon Barrel Horse Saddle that we will be giving away to the winners of the Futurity, Am. Futurity, Derby, and Open 5D champions. Latricia, Kristi, Sean, and Sabrina Rust have been busy busy with that so be looking for Latricia to be riding one shortly!
Football season is upon us here at the ranch, so if you come to visit, remember your Aggie colors!
